Chubby Bunny is getting Married!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

 I am so very pleased to announce that I, chubby bunny, am getting married this upcoming February. Over our courtship i bounced up 20 pounds weighing in at over 200+pounds. But when someone loves you they don't care if you weigh 150 or 200 they just want you to be happy. I feel truly blessed that someone loves me for fat rolls or not.

 However, I prefer to have the rolls on the table not on my back so I'm back on the wagon again. I've gone from 203 to 197 pounds.... on my "weigh" again.

The goal:20 pounds for the wedding. Final weight 177 hoping. Bon Voyage.

Anyone have any useful tips?

Hi Everyone,

 It looks like i've had an extended break from ProjectWeightLoss due to the website always being overloaded. Well alot has happened in the nearly YEAR i haven't been on here!

After Fiji I went to the gym nearly everyday and was able to fit into some size 10jeans (that was about October 2008..Then I got a transfer letter to move to Algeria, had some tests, no time for exercise or eating well, so by February of 2009 I was back up to my big fat self of size 14 jeans US! UGH! I was soo sooo sooo pissed at myself. I was stuck on a compound with no exercise equipment but the food was disgusting so I ended up in my size 12's snugly fitting...went on vacation to the Cook Islands, got fat again and was a size 14 starting at the begininng of May.

Now i've been back in Algeria on my rotation since the begining of may and have tried this reverse eating technique of having a medium breakfast, good lunch, and only an apple for dinner and cut out the booze. Its worked and am back to the size 12's.

However,  my boyfriend will be proposing soon and I think the wedding will be in about 6months and Idon't want to be a chubby bride! So i've resolved to get to a size 6 by December. My hunny bunny says he's happy with me just the way I am but i'm not....

So now, Chubby Bunny is back and i'll be posting pics and measurements starting tomorrow!

If you have any advice, tips or hints please let me know ok!!

One year and 20 pounds down!

 Its been one year since I started this blog and weight loss journey. To date I've lost 20 pounds!! While its not as exciting as some peoples i've got back down to my US size 12's!

i've just got back from 3 weeks in Fiji and didn't put any weight on so i'm totally chuffed. Its time to get back on the wagon though. I'm shooting to lose 20 pounds by the end of october taking me to 159...and hopefully a size 10!

 Wish me luck! How is everyone else out there doing?

20 Pounds LOST!!!!!!!

YAY!!!

I woke up this morning and I weighed 178.6!!!! The plateau broke!!

That is 20 pounds lost since August!!!

Slow? Yes--but i'm gonna  keep it off for good and am retraining the way I eat!!!

 

YAY!!!!

So I am going to egypt of friday and needed to buy a new bikini--this year i went to the same store that I bought one last year and i bought a bikini 2 SIZES smaller than last year!!!

Woo HOOO!!!!!!

Does weight loss make you more attractive?

I have an interesting question to ask anyone reading this.

 Do you think when you lose weight you will be more attractive?

To elaborate on this. If the main motivation for weight loss is to be seen by the opposite sex as more physically exciting. When you reach your weight goal will you be more attractive to them? And if someone you liked when you were a fatty but they showed no interest until you lost weight would you hold it against them because they couldn't see the inner you? Or would you let it slide because you were a fatty??

Just a couple thoughts going through my head today....

 PS! It is just friday but my waist has gone to 33.5! . Have had 2 more co workers comment on me losing weight--unprovoked!!

Well Hello Readers!

I want to congratulate my friend Eric who I started projectweight loss with last August. He has lost 90 flipping pounds and looks amazing by eating Chipotle!!!  Eric! Congrats!! Thanks for buddy system...you totally whooped me on this weight loss challenge...now I've got to catch up!

Now,

I just wanted to inform everyone that the pics will be posted next week because I finally got my promotion at work which i've spent the past 5 months working day, night and weekend on!! Which is probably what stalled the weight loss.

However, I'm still at 181, and my waist is 34 which is six inches smaller than when I started so i can't complain except I need to put my nose to the grindstone and get ready for my egypt scuba vacation.

 I've been traveling alot lately and everyone knows that when you are out at restaurants with collegues on expenses it is very difficult to eat well and be good on your diet!!! However I managed to stay on track and not gain any weight! This is especially good because whenever i got to Norway I gain about 3 pounds a week there. Potatoes, cheese, and creamy fish soup are not conducive to my waistline.

 So i've been sticking to fish when i'm at the restaurants. Having a glass of white wine...lots of water and no bread!!!

So my lovelys! next week i should be at 179 hopefully on the weight loss progreess as seeing that I am working out this week...should be a kick start!!

Kite Surfing = Ouch!

Hi Guys!

Just finished a 2 day kitesurfin course. Wow. my arms and back are tight, plus swimming in the north sea is super cold! I'd been at 181 all week but today my weight was up to 182 so I think my body is adjusting to all the work...we'll see by next weeks measurements!

This week= not so good

So this week I've not been super great about my eating but i'm having about 1400 calories a day...tried to combat this by walking to and from work-and walking up 4 flights of stairs 3 times a day. I can definately feel that I've lost weight..Walking upstairs is easier...its weird, i've kinda accepted that I'm 181. I defo want to get thinner. I have another vacation to Egype planned at the end May so hopefully i'll get to 170. I'm trying these Carb blocker/Starch blocker pills...maybe that will help with my carb overindulgance. 

 So this weekend I'm taking a 3 day kitesurfing course up here in the North Sea where evidently the water temperature is about 40degrees farenheit---ayyyyy carumba!!!! But on the good side I'll have about 20 hours of exercise in super chilly water this should push me into the 170's!!! I'm excited!

 Wish me luck everybody===or to who ever is reading this!

Chubby Bunny is Back!

Sorry for the delay in all the posting...the past couple of months have been hectic! Just so you know--I haven't given on the dieting--I had to move from my home in London up to Aberdeen...settle in on top of a super hectic work schedule. plus no internet at home anymore so i'm being naughty by doing this at work...hopefully no one sees me and my photos!

I had a saling/camping/beach trip to madagascar this Xmas!I ate pretty much fish and rice everyday on that trip so I kept my weight loss going! I've also joined a gym and have been going about 3x a week burning loads of calories off!!!

When I started this blog in August I was a tight size UK 18 which is about a 14/16 in US. I'm now fitting snugly into a UK 16. The size 18 clothes nowadays--I can pull my pants down to my ankles without unbuttoning or unzipping...truly fullfilling!!

It's good to be back! I've got 70lbs to lose!! I want to be a US size 6 by June! I've got loads of trips coming up so i'm keeping mini goals to look forward to! I'm not doing Atkins too much but have a vegetable box delivered every week...so i'm watching my calories and trying to keep them to about 1300..

I've got a trip to Egypt in February hopefully i'll be down to 180!!

Yep, am thoroughly getting sick of dieting. Literally, last week I had to stay home sick for 2 days. Not sure if it was food poisoning at the restaurant or what. I am just getting sick of not seeing any results. Everything is static.

 Weight tonight=188.6. My birthday is on Saturday. Need to lose 5 lbs by then.

 Screw doing this the slow way. I'm going for the quick way.

Right so I've been cheating loads this week but adding exercise in. I've been so angry about loads of things and  I found that eating badly makes me feel better...not good. I need to figure out the way to deal with my anger better. I've gained 6pounds in the two weeks but I gained 5pounds of musle. Also in the nighttime my fat % is at 36.3 which is lower than it has been before. My measurements went up slightly so I think i really only gained a pound of fat! Ack still too much.

Goals:

  • 183 by October 27, 2007 
  • 178 by November 19, 2007!

Losing motivation at the end of Week 9

So last week I was in Aberdeen stuck in a hotel all week. I did some walking, really watched what I ate and followed my diet...I got back home and I had gained 4 pounds!!!! That was it right then and there I decided to go on a binge for 2.5 days....hello Burger King, pizza, gummies, alcohol, Mcdonalds, thai food and rice...ACK! Oh well, i'm not posting my pics this week because i'm pissed off that for the past 5 weeks my weight is completely stagnant!....erggg I know the measurements were going down but I'm just losing the whole motivation.

 Anyone have any words to help keep me going?

I am posing a little bit in this picture because I ate breakfast before taking this pic so I've got a bit of food i'm digesting. However! Great news my measurements have gone done...just a little bit though.This week I did my mari winsor pilates 2x. did some jumproping (which is why i think my thigh measurement went up) and some walking. Hopefully the weight loss will continue slowly but surely!!!! Anyone have any ideas for speeding up weight loss? Or how to stay on the diet when traveling?

Now for the past 5 weeks my weight has fluctuated from 188 to 185. It never stays the same for more than half a day. Very aggravating. Today for the first time in 3 years I was able to wear one of my "thin me" belts.

You see 3 years ago I weighed about 155-160. I had been in that weight range for 9years. Then I went on the pill and in one month I gained 40 pounds. Can you believe that! I tried every diet under the sun from the southbeach, zone, exercise, vegetable, blood type diet. I didn't lose any weight under them.I lost some weight doing a 7day fast but gained most of it back..who wouldn't!!!

How frustrating...then out of desperation and a reccomendation I tried the Atkins...woohoo--result! Back to my story so 3 years ago I was pretty much happy with my weight and I had a really cool belt. That for the past 3 years would not fit me.

 Today it was casual friday, i thought what the hey,,,let's see if this bad boy fits and VOILA! I got it to the first notch!! YAY! and it wasn't cutting into my waist at all....

 I am so excited! So tonight i was really wanting some kind of bad for me food..got my take away menus and was looking at pizza, jalepeno poppers, chicken wings...wasn't sure what i wanted..then I remembered my sushi menu...success...managed to get my takeaway, stay on my diet and be completely satisfied and cheat a tiny bit...

i had salmon and tuna sashimi, edamame, vegetable tempura and a 3 pieces of spicy tuna roll,....mmmmm

Is anyone reading this blog? Can anyone else see a difference?

When I started my diet on August 2, 2007 it was because i got on the scale an dit read 198.8. OMG how could I get this big? Right then and there I resolved to lose weight, and get healthy before my birthday on October 27, 2007. Weight loss seems to be stagnant but after looking at my pictures there is progress. Now hopfully by my birthday I'll be in the 170's...I've got to be. I've done one 5k in 40mins and have a 10k coming up in a couple weeks.

I've decided that by my next birthday in 2008 I want to climb something...maybe Mount Killamanjaro..I want to get fit and healthy!

YAY! i'm excited my measurements have gone down. I was eating salmon every other day and chinese food on those. It looks like my 5k race helped with the weightloss. I'm going to start doing my pilates so hopefully my legs will stop looking so stocky from the walking/running!

I did my first 5k charity race yesterday. I hadn't trained at all but I am still very happy with my results. I did 5km in 40minutes. It might have been faster but some people just don't move outta the way! Later that day I did a quarter mile run as well. Yikes! I am in pain. I'm not doing my measurements this time because I think the numbers are a bit skewed from all of the exercising so I will post the figures later this week.

Week 5=Disaster!

I have done so well for the past 4 weeks but this one....it started with 2 cookies mid-week...my face totally broke out so I'm thinking I might have a wheat intolerance. Also, i had to lighten the picture if you think it looks a bit odd!

Then I went to Norway and I did well considering what I would normally eat there but I still had as far as Carbs go for the week:

2 cookies, 1/4cup of white rice, 1/4 naan, 1/4 cup ice cream, 1/8cup mashed potatoes.I haven't had that many carbs in ages. But I did walk about 3 miles uphill on the days I consumed the carbs. Maybe you can tell me if it looks like I gained weight or not...

 Anywho, I've taken my measurements and my stomach is a little bloated but I took the measurements at night and have a feeling they will go down a bit next week. I've also got a 5k this sunday and a 1/2k later on.

I've started this weight loss in August of 2007. To date I've lost 20 pounds and 4-5% body fat. I started as a 5'7 girl who weighed 198.8 pounds. And a US size 16.
My goal is to get to a US size 6 or 130 pounds whichever comes first. Not sure how longs its gonna take because its a really slow process at the moment!

I'm a chubby girl who's determined to lose weight through public humilation. Every week I take a picture of me in a bikini to track my weight loss... along with a host of measurements as well.

I'm doing the Atkins diet because I'm an Apple shaped person and it is the only one that works for me.
