Well today went well as day number 1. I don't really want to keep count of the days though so forget I said that ha. I hate when a "first day" doesn't go well and you end up with 20 "failed" or "ruined"first days in a row... It doesn't matter if it's the first or the hundreth day, it's the only day that matters right now. I want to just focus on each day as it comes, to say to myself "Today, I'll make the right choices." Regardless of how many bad ones I made yesterday, or might make tomorrow. Making the right choices and having a good day makes me feel so great, I want to feel that way every day. So my goal for each day is simply to make the right choices and feel GOOD about it. I can only make that happen by doing, not by hoping or regretting. So thats my main goal...just to make the right choices in the moment, for that one day. It's just ONE DAY. That becomes a week, that becomes a month, that becomes a year, that becomes a lifetime of good decisions and good health. The decision to walk home today, instead of taking the bus. The decision to have the healthier choice for this one meal. All these little decisions will become second nature once I repeat them every day.
