The most important decision to make is why do I want to lose the extra weight. I've always thought that if I'm trying to lose weight for someone else and not myself, then I won't be able to lose it as effectively. I have to be the one to want to lose weight! Deciding on why I need to lose weight also helps me decide the method and means that I will need to go about doing this. If it's just about looking good, then an intesive program may not be the answer, but if it's for health reasons then I may have to look at a completely different lifestyle change. I realize that the decision is mine to make alone, and I should be doing this to please myself and not others.
