Walked into town this afternoon and felt really good... lighter and more flexible.... so I think this diet I'm on is working. I'm trying to stay between 1200 and 1800 calories per day but I've gone below that a couple of days. Not trying to, but it's hard to calculate calories; I'm just trying to make sure that I satisfy my appetite with healthy food. I did eat a chocolate yesterday. I'm not a person who eats a lot of candy so that was kind of surprising that I felt like eating chocolate. I'm still drinking way too much wine but I find it kills my appetite, as do pickles and olives so I munch on them occasionally. But wine is taking up about 250 calories a day. I'll work on cutting down.
