This morning I had a meeting with my career counselor at Keller, so talk about how to go about getting a job. He helped me with my resume and gave me tons of resources.

I didn't eat breakfast before I left (HUGE mistake!) and so when I got home, I cooked some rice, but ate a bowl of cereal while the rice was cooking. Am now eating the rice with skim milk and a little sugar. This is kind of breakfast/lunch together.

We have leftover lasagna that we will have for dinner tonight, but I will only have a small piece and will eat vegies with it.

Day 2.5

So, I weighed at Grandma's today since she has a good scale, and I am there every Sunday, I will just weigh there every week. 203.2 lbs.

I totally ate way too much tonight though! lol We went to a friend's house and they made injera and wat, an ethiopian dish. It was spicy, but very good!! And she made cookies, so I had a couple of those. I also had 2 rolls.

It's ok, though, tomorrow is another day. I am not going to beat myself up for the past.

Ok, so it's Sunday, and I have church this morning. Church is just up the road, so I will walk, and then we always go to Grandma's house for lunch after church, so instead of coming back to get the car, I think we will walk to Grandma's. 

Breakfast was rice with skim milk and a little sugar.
Lunch at Grandma's was goulash, so I had 1/2 a small bowl and a piece of plain toast and 1/2 can diet dr. pepper.

Then we walked back home.

Also, I have quite a few workout videos, such as hip hop abs, turbo jam, etc. Is is better to just do one series for a while and then switch, or would it be ok (beneficial) to do something a little different everyday? I am afraid I will get bored if I just do the same thing everyday.

Ok, so this is it... how many times have I been here? At the beginning. I lost my job almost 3 weeks ago and have not been able to find another job. I have an MBA in HR and Marketing, but not much actual job experience because I took 12 years off to stay home with my kids until they were in school.

I was walking everyday with a friend at work when I was working, but then I got fired unfairly and am without a walking buddy now. I had gotten down to around 197, but am now back up again to over 200. At 5'2" that is FAT!

So, without a job, I have nothing but time, right? So, no more excuses... I am going to eat right and exercise every day!! There is no reason not to! So, I am going to try to journal my journey, so that I do not give up!
