Hi Everyone,
My name is Katie I am 23 years old and morbidly obese. I have wonderful husband and a 15 month old. I have decided to make a change in my life and lose the weight so that I can have a long healthy life with my husband and son. But I have no idea even where to start, I have tried the weight watchers diet and fat free diet with little or no success. I am at wits end and need help, I have seriously thought about having weight loss surgery but am afraid to take that leap. If anyone has any advice at all please help!

| A surgery is not a good idea. Eat lots of protein - they'll give you a sense of satiety and fullness, making it less likely to overeat something unhealthy later. What's your favorite sport? If you don't have one, it's ok because regular activities you do around the house may help you lose weight. First of all, the main goal should be a healthier lifestyle, not just dropping pounds. Use your imagination! You have plenty of resources around the house, use them and save some money. For instance, use a can of soup as a dumbbell, or your own bodyweight for resistance exercises. Good luck! |
