Denise Richards' Diet is Not that Complicated
By Alice Mitchell, Project Weight Loss Editor October 30, 2008
“Denise Richards: It's Complicated” had about 1.1 million viewers watching every episode in its first season. So, E! Entertainment Television decides a second season is in order. Furthermore, actress Denise Richards, the main character, is constantly working hard to keep her beautiful body in shape. What does she do exactly to prepare her body and mind for “show time”? It’s unbelievable how fast these celebrities “recover” after giving birth! Denise Richards has two babies and, in no time, she was looking like nothing happened for the previous 9 months. That’s because she exercises “almost every day” and she practices Pilates, which helped the actress sculpt and strengthen her body. Moreover, she also practices kickboxing, cardio and weight training. The actress sometimes wakes up at 5 a.m. to exercise, that’s how important it is for her. When it comes to eating, Denise says, as all celebrities in fact, she eats almost everything, the essential thing being the small quantity consumed. “My favorite afternoon snack is slices of cucumbers and tomatoes sprinkled with a little olive oil and sea salt,” she adds. Eating healthy is, for Denise Richards, more important than obsessing about losing weight or starving oneself, even though she knows being slim is a must in Hollywood. “There's definitely pressure in Hollywood to be thin, but even if I didn't have to work, I would still want to lose the weight. Who wants to keep weight on after 18 months of being pregnant in the last two years?” Like every other celebrity actress out there, Denise Richards has her secrets when it comes to losing weight and dieting. Her daily calorie intake is restricted to 1500, which is considered to be reasonable considering her measures and daily activities. Her diet includes organic fruits, lean proteins, vegetables, and whole grains. She never skips breakfast and dinner after 6 p.m. is intolerable. Denise loves chips, guacamole and ice cream, in the summer. Can you argue with her? ©2008 Project Weight Loss. All rights reserved.
