American Music Awards took place Sunday but magazines are still writing about the event, the winners and the sexy, glamorous celebrities. Chris Brown and Rihanna dominated the 36th annual AMA. Brown’s girlfriend won Best Pop/Rock Female Artist and Best Soul/R&B Female Artist. But do love and winning make you get such a stunning body? Rihanna’s transformation over the past year has been dramatic, we might say. The singer has lost a lot of weight and that is due to hard work. She’s been exercising and dieting to get in shape. "It wasn't so much losing weight as being fit and toned and healthy. I just didn't feel great," she explained. The 20-year-old Barbadian singer is keeping it healthy. Even though she admits she’s not a fan of vegetables, she includes them in her diet. Rihanna mostly eats carrots, lettuce, cucumbers, snacks on fruits and water is her best friend. She has egg whites with pineapple for breakfast and drinks hot water with lemon. For lunch, she has fish and potatoes and again fish for dinner. Rihanna trains two-three times a week with her personal trainer, because, she admits working on her own is not fun. This way, she keeps motivated. Most of the times, she does cardio and weight training, and works hard on toning her arms and legs. "We work on the arms. I don't want manly, muscular arms. We work out my butt because I love my butt, but my legs are my main focus. I'm obsessed, “said the singer. Being a Hollywood celebrity, weight is always an issue. For Rihanna is not so much about weight as it is about her legs, which, she says, are her main dissatisfaction when it comes to her body. "I really don't like my legs, I'm very insecure about them. Everyone wants to have slim, perfectly-toned legs and I'm no different," she said. Perfection is the keyword in Hollywood, and she has caught the "disease". "I keep working at it as I want it to be perfect. It makes my clothes look good – and guys like it!" They certainly do! ©2008 Project Weight Loss. All rights reserved.
