She’s only 21 but just a year ago she ranked No. 7 in Forbes’ Power 100 list - Top-Earning Young Superstars roster. At the age of 16, her appearance in a movie was valued to $2 million. Hilary Duff made the cover of Maxim magazine last august, which put her on the 23rd place among other 100 hot Hollywood stars. She’s not only an actress but a singer too. In the past two years Duff has completely transformed her looks from a teenage girl to a sexy, fit star. She may have been criticized in the past by the media about her weight and bad eating habits, but not anymore. Her secret to losing weight is eating small meals and giving up French fries. "I saw such a big difference so fast! Now I'm like, 'Yes, this is awesome!’” said Duff. Hilary is now on a protein and veggie diet. For example, she has Kashi cereal with 2% milk for breakfast and a latte and grilled chicken and a Caesar salad with a tablespoon of low-fat dressing for lunch. Dinner is lighter and it includes a grilled tuna steak or sushi and some veggies. Her favorite snacks are apples, nuts, and brie cheese. Her worst fear when it comes to her body is not to look to manly. "I couldn't just go to the gym like my friends and lift weights. I would get these muscles in my legs. I felt boyish," she explained. That is why she practices pilates four times a week, which, she says, helped her the most to lose weight and lengthen her arms. Cardio is also part of her workout routine. "I run on the treadmill. I start off in a power walk on a high incline to warm up so I won't get cramps and stuff, and then I'll lower it. I also do the elliptical, “she explained. Swimming is a habit she’s much found of, especially when she’s on tour around the world. When she decides to take a break from her diet, Hilary goes right for some chips or maybe Jelly Belly, cheese pizza, Dr. Pepper, and Sprite.
