Jenny Sanford's Passion for Life

South Carolina First Lady Jenny Sanford asked her husband to leave because of his infidelity. Despite the fact Mark Sanford cheated Mrs. Sanford with a woman from Argentina, his wife tried to solve their marital problems.

 

Finally, she maintained her dignity and self-respect deciding to leave Mr. Sanford. It takes guts to do what South Carolina First Lady did, especially when children are involved. Jenny Sanford has a tough character. Her passion for life is strong, this being revealed by her latest actions: thinking about her kids, telling her husband to leave, her engagements in philanthropic activities, and so on. In 2005 Jenny Sanford launched the Healthy SC Challenge, wanting to help South Carolinians eat healthier, start exercising, and quit smoking.

 

What Mrs. Sanford supports is important for a healthy life. You would be surprised by the benefits of eating healthier: you can lose one to two pounds a week. You should rein your consumption of refined carbohydrates like cookies, cakes, sweets, biscuits, and candy. When you eat meat, pick lean cuts of it. Also, put the frying pan away. It’s better to boil, steam, broil, bake, or grill.

 

Satisfy your appetite with more fresh fruit and vegetables. They are low in calories and help bulk out meals. Do you have a big appetite? A mixed salad before the main meal is the answer – it edges off your appetite. You should weigh or measure your food – it’s all about portions control.

 

Alcohol has many calories because it contains sugar. You may want to cut it down, drink once a day if you want and enjoy the moment, but no more than one drink. Do you like coffee and tea? Cut out the sugar by using skimmed milk.

 

When you set your weight loss goals start with realistic expectations. The best weight loss is one of 8lb/month. Eating healthy to lose weight is very good, but you could add some physical activity.

 

Working out and eating right build strong persons. Jenny Sanford is passionate about healthy lifestyles and promotes this as much as she can.
