Alexis, one of the cast, is more like a modern version of a 1950s wife. What are her priorities?

Mother of three kids, James, Melania, and Mackenna, Alexis takes the traditional role in her marriage very seriously. Don’t forget her husband Jim Bellino, who’s described by Bravo TV as “an assertive man who prides himself on being the head of his household.” Alexis puts his needs above hers, but nevertheless, on her spare time she likes to work out so she would feel and look at her best.

Busy mothers can find a hard time to work out to a fitness club. But there are solutions and Alicia found some of them too.

Busy moms could invest in a bike with infant carrier or a running stroller; this way she could bike or walk whenever she wants.

Everybody knows babies want to stay in their moms’ arms most of the time, so why don’t use them as weights into the workout program? An example would be to walk up and down the stairs with the baby in his pack; or holding the baby in front while doing lunges and squats.

A baby swing may be a good investment along with a fitness DVD, especially if they’re used in the same room. Just imagine – the baby is happy, entertained in his swing while his mother is exercising as shown on DVD.

Kids’ playground can be easily transformed in a “workout-ground.” Playing tag and running as fast as possible is just an idea. Glutes and hamstrings can be worked when the child is pushed on the swing, by sinking down into a squat. Like the exercises from aerobic classes, the steps from the playground equipment can be used to step up and down.

Alexis is a busy mother and still finds time for exercises; so can every busy mother do with just a little will and imagination.
