Kelly Osbourne’s Amazing Weight Loss

Kelly Osbourne lost an amazing 42 pounds and she is looking great.  So what are some of her secrets?


Kelly revealed some of her secrets.  She cut back on soda; instead of having ten day, she would have only one.  Instead of having a bag of potato chips, she would have a rice cracker.  She also got rid of her microwave.  This way she did not eat three minute meals full of calories but would pick up something fresh instead.  

 

If you only drink four colas (12 ounce) a day and cut back to one you can lose over 50 pounds in a year! Remember that “drink calories” don’t satisfy or curb your hunger so they have a nasty habit of going directly to your waist line.

 

Kelly also said that she eats half an apple before going to bed.  She learned a trick to eat just a little bit of something that has no carbs and no sugar in it before going to sleep because it keeps your metabolism going.  

 

An average day eating-wise for Osbourne consists of an egg-white omelet with turkey bacon for breakfast, a chopped salad with tomatoes, salami, mozzarella and garbanzo beans for lunch, and a turkey burger with a salad or a side of steamed vegetables for dinner. Sugar-free Jell-O is her go-to snack.

 

She also does a lot of Pilates and she loves it, her posture got so much better and she is seeing muscles on her stomach. She also competed on Dancing With the Stars, so all that training and dancing helped too.

 

In general, Kelly sticks to the Bar Method.  The Bar Method, created by Burr Leonard, is a blend of Pilates, yoga and other exercises.  The program is low-impact and helps to reduce body fat while toning muscles.  Many of the exercises focus around bar work.
