April 08, 2008If you want to lose weight by skipping meals and starve yourself, there are better ways. Following a diet should not be a burden for anyone. An easy way to lose weight is to eat less and more often. The only trick is you have to decrease portion sizes.
The “3 Hour” Diet is meant to avoid the circumstances when you feel too much hunger. The basic rule is to eat breakfast within an hour from waking up, then three hours later and so on. However, the last meal should be three hours before bedtime.
The diet`s creators believe this way your body will burn calories more easily, and calories will turn into energy thanks to the smaller portion sizes. Here are three examples of menus that stick to the “3 Hour” Diet:
Menu Sample #1:
Breakfast should consist of a French roll, plum jam, and one cup of grapefruit juice. As a snack, you may have two cups of carrots juice. For lunch, dieters may have two pieces of grilled chicken, an apple, and a cookie as a snack. Those who want to follow this diet can have for dinner chicken steak and vegetables salad and seven jellies for dessert.
Menu Sample #2:
For breakfast, you may have half a cup of cereals, one cup of soy milk, two spoons of blackberries, and seven chocolate peanuts as a snack. Lunch may consist of one chicken steak with white sauce, and a few peanuts as a snack. Grilled fish may be consumed for dinner along with some grapes.
Menu Sample #3:
Breakfast may include one boiled egg, a slice of bread, a slice of melon, and six biscuits for a snack. For lunch, try a cheeseburger with salad and mayonnaise, and some chocolate as a snack. Dinner may consist of beef steak with broccoli, and four biscuits as a snack.
Always talk to a specialist before starting a diet or a fitness program.
