Wanna Lose Weight? Eat a Big Breakfast!

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Eating a carb - packed big breakfast is a safe way to losing weight because carbs and proteins avoid the need of fat – rich products, sweets and unhealthy food. Hence, a big breakfast is the key to an effective long – term weight loss project.

 

“It could be that it is simply easier for people on a higher-carbohydrate diet to comply with it over a longer period,” according to Dr. Alex Johnstone of Aberdeen-based Roweet Research Institute.

 

The eight – month study challenged 96 obese and physically inactive women. They were separated in two groups: the first group ate a high carb and calorie breakfast and the second one ate a smaller low-carb breakfast. The result was overwhelming: the group of women having a heavy – carb breakfast lost nearly forty pounds.



The benefits of this diet are: the boosting of the metabolism and a healthier way to lose weight because it is very permissive.  Those who follow the diet can eat fruits, vegetables and more fiber. Weight can be controlled while dieters have the opportunity to enjoy a big and rich breakfast.



However, there are certain people who don't agree with this diet because of the enlargement it causes to the stomach. Some scientists tend to lean more towards strict diets and take them as a way of life.

 


As the old saying goes, one should have breakfast alone, lunch should be shared with a friend and dinner should be given to the enemy.
