Brooke Hogan from Surgery to Working Out
By Oana Pop, Project Weight Loss Editor August 19, 2008
Brooke Hogan is a well known pop singer and public personality due to the series “Hogan knows Best” and her appearances on television. She is the daughter of the professional wrestler Hulk Hogan. When she was daddy`s little girl she was into dancing, singing, cheerleading and gymnastics. Brooke has developed her own career being known as a pop singer having a contract with Trans Continental Records. She is now the star of the series “Brooke knows Best”, premiered on the 13th of July on VH1 Channel. Although, she is twenty one, she still is daddy`s little girl. Hulk is very strict with dating as he once threw Aaron Carter out of his house. Trying to make a life of her own, Brooke was destined to live with her dad after the divorce of her parents. She is still living with Hulk and she says she has loosened up a bit now. The problems she had to deal with in the past still come around in the present. Brooke seems to be having some problems with her weight control. As many of you know her weight fluctuates a lot. After having the sub muscular breast implant, Brooke seemed to be gaining some weight. In 2005 Brooke Hogan was looking amazing, nice worked abs. It looks like now she isn`t taking into consideration her father`s advice about eating chocolate chip cookies and working out programs. In 2005 Brooke was working out two times a day and sticking to the Atkins diet. Now she says she lost ten pounds but the result isn`t that overwhelming. She even claims she feels more toned up, but recent pictures of her don`t show it. She is planning to lose another ten pounds so that she can regain her self confidence. Her diet is pretty simple: eating small meals, healthy snacks between meals. Her favorites are: grapes, walnuts, salads, fruits and almonds. When she wants to lose weight she completely eliminates all sugar and bread from her diet, which actually is the best weight loss strategy ever applied. When it comes to her work out Brooke says that the most important part is to have your diet well structured than everything will turn out to be as planned. The hint for losing weight is that moderate exercising burns out more calories. Brooke works out in the morning, six days a week, and sometimes she does weightlifting with her dad. She also takes cardio about 30 minutes a day. Let`s keep our fingers crossed for Brooke and wish her good luck at keeping weight off!
