Kate Winslet or How to Have an Award-Winning Body?
By Alice Mitchell, Project Weight Loss Editor
November 05, 2008

It’s rumored Kate Winslet could take two more Oscars this year for the parts she played in “The Reader” and “Revolutionary Road”.  She already won us with her new figure.  The actress looks better than ever.  Everybody’s talking about her diet, but what is it that she eats exactly?

Kate Winslet revealed she has struggled with weight being as a child and even though she now looks great and slim, the actress still feels “fat”.  “I was fat. I didn't know any fat famous actresses.  I just did not see myself in that world at all, and I'm being very sincere... You know, once a fat kid, always a fat kid.  Because you always think that you just look a little bit wrong or a little bit different from everyone else.  And I still sort of have that.”

When it comes to motivation on working out, Kate has a strange one: “everyone can commit to 20 minutes, especially if there's a glass of Chardonnay afterwards.  “Well, that's one way to motivate yourself, eh?!” She is said to have used the Facial analysis diet, which let to her losing 56 pounds in ten months. This is a special diet, created by fitness expert Elizabeth Gibaud, in which the nutritionist “reads” what the nutritional deficiencies are by looking at the face.

For example, if you have open pores, that means that you have too much acid in the system or if your diet is too rich, then you’ll have lines on your forehead. Exercises are also important. Kate is not really into working out so she prefers walking or jogging. She also runs on the treadmill 5 or 7 times a week, while she watches TV. Her advice to losing weight is eat less and exercise more.  As simple as that.
