Gisele Bundchen, a Brazilian Supermodel on an American Diet

Gisele Caroline Bündchen is well known Brazilian model, although she occasionally plays parts in movies. She has appeared on the cover of almost every entertainment magazine and now rumors are that she’s getting married to Tom Brady. The 28-year-old is no ordinary model, but the highest-paid one and the richest supermodel in the world, being listed on Guinness Book of World Records. It seems the gorgeous Gisele has it all. The secret? She’s got one of the best figures in the industry of modeling and obviously knows how to stay fit. The diet Gisele has been following has been a controversy from the first time it was revealed to the public: the cheeseburger diet. Since she was first discovered in a McDonald’s fast food, the supermodel hasn’t given up her favorite food, cheeseburgers. She’s not only the richest supermodel there is, but she can also eat fast food without gaining weight. Ok, so cheeseburgers do have proteins, calcium, but what about the calories and the saturated fat it contains? Gisele is either “gifted” with a high-speed metabolism or she exercises like a maniac to burn those extra calories. Or she’s just lying. "I'm very athletic, so I guess because of that I get to eat what I want,” she explains. Gisele loves to exercise, so that may be the reason she allows herself to eat everything she wants, although, obviously, in moderation. She practices yoga everyday and that helps her stay fit but also gives her a good state of mind. She’s also into volleyball, horseback riding and surfing, which she practices at least three times a week. She explained in numerous occasions the importance of regular exercise. “It’s important to remember that if you don’t put gas in your car, it’s going to stop. Similarly, if I don’t put food in my body, I’m going to die. I eat whatever there is to eat because I don’t want to faint on the runway,” said the supermodel. ©2008 Project Weight Loss.
