Latest Juicy Gossip: Blake Lively's Size Zero Obsession
By Alice Mitchell, Project Weight Loss Editor
January 16, 2009

For those “Gossip Girls” maniacs, good news: producers Stephanie and Josh Schwartz are working on a new series and it sounds promising. It’s based on Lily van der Woodsen Bass’s life as a child, so the action takes place in the 80’s. The pilot will be released May 11th and, hopefully, Blake Lively, better known as Serena van der Woodsen, will get over her size zero obsession. If not, than there will certainly be lots of scissors involved.

Gossip girls are everywhere and have been slandering these days about Blake’s outfit from the Golden Globes, which wasn’t, apparently, fitting her properly. According to Fashion Week Daily, the young actress refuses to see herself other than a supermodel, so anything besides clothes with size zero tags is inacceptable.

Because she doesn’t seem to get it into her head that she’s not perfect, costume designers have come up with a “sharp” solution: to secretly cut the tags on larger-sized clothes. Blake will pe appearing on the cover of February’s issued of Vogue, but, obviously, no one knows the size of the golden dress. Blake does work out hard to stay fit and lose weight in her “size zero mission”.

She goes to the gym 4-5 times a week and does cardio, treadmill, yoga, Pilates, tai-chi, lunges, squats, and crunches. No effort is too much, considering her motivation. The actress combines this with a healthy, balances diet which includes carbs, proteins and fat. Breakfast is a must and during the day she snacks on vegetables and fruits.

Although she is beautiful, good looking and a good actress, Blake doesn’t seem to realize that her words mean a great deal to her fans. She didn’t seem to think too much when she said that “I lost weight, but I got toned. It was the healthiest I’ve ever been!" when referring to the preparation for her part in “Elvis and Annabelle”, a story about a beauty queen who dies as a result of bulimia. So, bulimia not only makes you lose weight, but also tones your body? Inspiring, isn’t it?!

the author seems to be confused. the actress didnt say she was bulimic and went there to get in shape for this character. in fact the article says that she worked out 4-5 times a week doing many different workouts to get in shape... the bulimia isnt what made her skinny or tone her body. so what was quoted wasnt horrible. she said working out that much and eating right put her in the best shape of her life. the last sentence is a misguided comment. no one put bulimia in a positive light.

Wow, that\'s horrible! I can\'t believe she would say those things. Eating disorders are no joke. I know they have a lot of pressure on them to look good, but still. I don\'t have enough time to diet and I tried modelherbs.com It really helped detoxify my body naturally, and in a healthy way! I\'ve also started working out for 30 min a day. The only way to lose weight is a natural, healthy way, and even joking about bullemia is not cool at all!
