By Alice Mitchell, Project Weight Loss Editor
January 28, 2009

She’ll turn 40 next month but she’s the envy of 30-year-old women everywhere. Jennifer Aniston has reportedly been asked to present this year’s Academy Awards. Since her ex-husband Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are both nominated for an award and will be attending the event, Jennifer has to work out extra to show off her amazing figure. So, how is she preparing for the big event?

Jennifer is a fan of exercise and likes to mix and continuously change her workout routine. Practicing yoga is a must in the actress’s like. Plus, she’s got one of the best yoga instructors there is: Mandy Ingber. He designs private yoga lesson for the actress so boredom is not an issue when it comes to her thrice-weekly yoga routine.

“Try to hold each pose for 30 to 60 seconds ( 5 to 10 deep breaths), then follow each move immediately with two sets of 8 to 10 reps of the paired calisthenic. Right away, you’ll be less stressed and more energized. And in as few as four weeks, you’ll feel and look noticeably stronger, longer and leaner” explains Ingber.

The 40-year-old actress also does cardio, treadmill, usually before her yoga session. As for her diet, Jennifer is the one celebrity that sticks to her diet, in her case, the Atkins. Well, an upgraded version which consisted of cutting out pasta and bread from the diet, and replacing them with cheese, bacon, and protein-rich eggs. Jennifer loves this version of the Atkins as it’s not as strict as the traditional one.
