Lose That Baby Fat: Naomi Watts' Weight Loss Program

Naomi Watts is starring in the movie “The International”, which had its premiere last week. The actress gave birth to her second child a few months ago and now she’s back on her feet and is looking better and better every day. So, how did she manage to lose all her pregnancy weight?

 

The 41-year-old actress says she’s not following a diet and the most frequent exercise she’s doing these days is running after her kids. “You drop some weight just by running after them,” says Naomi. Naomi explained how important it is to still eat well while breastfeeding. She says that, even though she eats more that she did when she was pregnant because of the continuous hunger feeling, her daily menu consists of healthy food such as vegetables.

 

Also, she uses portion control to lose weight. When it comes to exercise, Naomi prefers Pilates, which she practices on a daily basis and also while she was pregnant. Pilates is what helped her to lose all that baby weight. To make sure her weight loss mission will be a successful one, the actress decided to get the help of a trainer.

 

”Three weeks before we started filming "The International" I decided that I better get into changing my body back again. And they gave me a trainer and it was very effective and also breastfeeding. That’s how you drop weight. Even though you’re just eating all the time, he is eating too,” she said. Her trainer gives some basic advices to pregnant women who decide to practice Pilates: breathe, don’t overstretch, and avoid exercising on your back after the second trimester.
