Britney Spears' Revival
By Alice Mitchell, Project Weight Loss Editor
March 04, 2009

Britney Spears is on her world “Circus” tour to promote her album. She looks fresh, toned, and trim and still knows how to make her crowd happy. The pop star has managed to revive her career and transform her body all over again. So, what’s behind Britney’s body transformation?

Strength-training workouts three times a week, two-hour cardio, and preparing with her dancers for the new tour are just a small part Britney’s workout routine . “It’s a nonstop workout,” says Steven Boggs, her personal trainer. The singer is very pleased with the results, even though she knows her body transformation is not yet finished.

Meal delivery from Sunfare is also a part of her body work. She now eats burritos, barbecue chicken salad, and turkey burgers and her daily menu is about 1,200 calories. Britney’s weight loss approach is simple. She gained weight because of her love for fats and high carbs, less exercise as her personal career was on hold. Now she’s changed all that. Britney is working out a lot and is eating well meaning five-six small, healthy meals a day.

“Britney got her workouts together first. But the workouts didn't get her all the way there. She had to cut out the crap food. So if you're on top of your workouts, but you need to get the food together, this is your chance. Get rid of all of the crap food that you know only makes you fat. Get rid of the alcohol, sugar, fried crap, and empty calories,” explains Josh Hillis, fat loss expert and author of Fighter Workouts for Fat Loss For Women.

Britney Spears should probably be president at this point. She knows how to get things done. :))
