April 30, 2009Taylor Hicks is performing again on "American Idol". Taylor is a great guy, someone who had fun and enjoyed all the silliness that came with competing on the show "American Idol". The big questions are how he lost weight and what does he do to keep a healthy ‘modus vivendi’. The grey haired wonder lost 20 pounds.
When he isn’t on the road,
Taylor has taken up running. “I’m on stage every night, which is the equivalent of running an hour and a half every night” he said, comparing his performance on stage with a "high energy soul-aerobics". Usually, in about two hours of aerobics you can burn up to 900 calories. If you burn more than 3500 calories, you`re the proud winner of a fat loss of almost one pound! So start dancing like Taylor Hicks because it’s a great cardio exercise.
Being a big fan of the Southern fried chicken didn’t help Taylor that much with his weight loss. So he gave up chicken and replaced it with soups and salads. This way he speeded up his weight loss by cutting hundred calories out of his daily meals. What is he eating exactly? Well, Taylor eats brown rice, salads, chicken noodle soup, and fish. The regular chicken noodle soup has 80 calories per serving (8 fl oz; 241 g).
Now Taylor Hicks looks great and he’s a good example for those who want to
lose weight or just to stay fit. The 30-year-old celebrity won my respect. Good luck Taylor!
