Eminem's Diet
By Alex Baran, Project Weight Loss Staff Writer June 01, 2009
At the MTV Movie Awards Eminem got really upset after Sacha Baron Cohen crashed into an overhead obstacle landing into Eminem’s lap. Sacha was playing a flamboyant fashion reporter role, called "Bruno". Was it a mistake or a joke? Eminem seems to face many dangers these days: first his diet, now Bruno’s crash. What`s next? Eminem follows a crash diet. He lost 28 lbs by giving up alcohol and fatty foods. This diet may be dangerous while touring, according to the doctors. His lifestyle changed a lot. If he used to eat fries, fried chicken, drumsticks, and burgers, now the singer eats fish and grilled meats, vegetables and fruits. Bottom of line, he cut refined carbs. This diet may be risky for him because it may lead to strokes, heart attacks, kidney and liver failure, in the worst scenario even death. In some case anemia appears. Anemia can be caused by iron deficiency. Eminem – crash dieters in general – could be deficient in potassium, sodium, and vitamin B12. Heart attack appears when these vitamins are at a very low level. Eminem is helped by a fitness expert that advises Janet Jackson too. Before starting his weight loss program, he didn’t have a good image about him: “I mean I look nothing like me man!" the singer told to a friend. The singer runs when he can and works out on a treadmill. ©2009 Project Weight Loss. All rights reserved.
