July 03, 2009 4th of July is almost here and our expectations have grown even more. I want wonderful fireworks, great weather and good food. Since we don’t want to gain weight I’m presenting you a low fat recipe - Low Fat Guacamolea, a Mexican specialty.
Ingredients
1 teaspoon of sea salt
2 cups with frozen soybeans, thawed
1/8 teaspoon of cayenne
Juice of 2 small limes
1 teaspoon of cumin
1 garlic clove
1/4 cup with fresh cilantro leaves
1 medium salad tomato, diced and seeded
1/2 small sweet onion
Instructions
First combine all ingredients, without tomatoes, in a food processor. Blend until smooth, scraping sides as needed. Add 1-2 tablespoons of water if necessary. Finally, stir in tomatoes and it’s ready.
