Victoria Beckham's Uncommon Diet

Victoria Beckham will appear in the TV show "Gossip Girl," famous for its fashion and storylines. It was expected to happen since Victoria is a good looking designer. The TV series air every Monday. Victoria knows how to stay in shape, but will she reveal the secret?

While for some people celebrities’ tips for losing weight may seem strange, for others they are perfectly normal. What do you think of Victoria Beckham’s diet that includes berries and sashimi?

She’s strict with her diet, but allows herself to drink a glass of wine every evening, according to Mail Online. "She thinks she’s the best ambassador for the clothes she designs – so she wants to be model thin," said a source.

Scientific research has shown that berries can help prevent cancer and heart disease, slow aging, control blood glucose, improve vision, and sharpen brain functions. These fruits contain a giant portion of phytochemicals, minerals, vitamins and fiber, providing numerous health benefits.

Sashimi is a Japanese delicacy, primarily consisting of thinly sliced, fresh raw seafood. It is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, protein, and other nutrients including selenium, magnesium, vitamins B6 and B12, phosphorous, and niacin.

Wine has health benefits too: small amounts of red wine, such as one glass per day, may decrease by thirty percent the risk of suffering from cardiac diseases for adults, may increase the levels of good cholesterol, the HDL cholesterol, and may prevent the increase of the bad cholesterol, the LDL cholesterol, according to studies.

Moderate amounts of wine may also prevent the inadequate blood coagulation and reduce the process of degradation of blood vessels due to fat deposits. It was showed that in the Mediterranean region, where large amounts of wine are produced and consumed, the number of people who suffer from cardiovascular disease is much smaller compared to other regions.

Victoria Beckham’s diet may seem poor in nutrients, but analyzing carefully you see that she takes all the vitamins and nutrients her body needs in order to stay in shape and have energy. When you create a diet, it is important to choose the foods that provide the necessary nutrients.
