The show is pretty exciting, especially since the “Dancing with the Stars” finale is coming. ABC’ show seems to put people to hard work. Who claims a new weight loss achievement?

The finalists are Dmitry and Mya, along with Kym and Donny. Mya had the top scores. She also told OK! that “Dancing with the Stars” helped her achieve the best physical condition of her life. “I lost a lot of fat and I have more muscle. I dropped a dress size, from a 4 to a 2,” said the R&B singer.

In order to do her best on the show, Mya rehearses for 6-12 hours a day, a few times a week. Besides dancing, she also jumps rope, does boxing workouts, crunches, and interval training.

If you try her workout regime you should know that jumping rope is not a risky exercise, but some precautions are needed: buy comfortable shoes and warm up before starting the workout.

Boxing training can make people see positive results. It builds defined, stronger legs and arms, helps gain emotional balance and a sense of inner strength.

Crunches bring many benefits too, but their visible effects differ from person to person. You can get some shape and definition in abdominal muscles by doing crunches.

Maybe a few people know the importance of interval training. It has been the basis for athletic workout regime for years. This training works both the anaerobic and aerobic system, which leads to the adaptation response. After a while, the body will build new capillaries and delivers oxygen to the working muscles in an improved way. Another benefit is that it prevents the injuries that are usually associated with repetitive endurance exercise.

Training for such a contest can bring an interesting weight loss success: “I started at 138 pounds and went down to 127 within a month, then down to 121 pounds. Now, I am back at 127 because I’ve gained muscle from dancing,” said Mya.

Each participant has trained hard. I wonder who will win the finale, which you can see November 23rd, on ABC.
