Lose Weight with the Cabbage Soup Diet

 Before choosing a diet, you should know something about its effects. Besides the fact the cabbage soup diet is considered a great way to lose weight, what do you know about it? Is it a healthy diet?

 

The cabbage soup diet is low in fats, high in fibers, and has visible effects in the short-term. This diet includes many healthy vegetables that help cleansing the body too.

 

The ingredients for the cabbage soup include one minced cabbage, two sliced onions, eighteen ounces tomato sauce, two mild peppers, two celeries, peppers, six sliced carrots, seven ounces of pods, half a cup of vinegar, spices, and greens. In order to prepare the soup, put the vegetables into a pot and let them boil. Add the spices, leave it for another ten minutes, and add the pepper and the green.

 

A disadvantage would be that you might feel hungry. There will be a huge difference between the allowed meals in this diet and the meals you used to eat. Some people complained of weakness, dizziness, and lack of concentration because of this diet.

 

You may also consume potatoes, vegetables, meat, and juice. For instance, on Monday you may consume fruits, except bananas. Tuesday you may eat raw vegetables along with the cabbage soup. On the third day you may have vegetables and fruits, on the next day up to eight glasses of low-fat milk and up to eight bananas, then beef, poultry, and six tomatoes. On Saturday you may eat beef, poultry, fish, or vegetables. In the last day you may consume brown rice, vegetables, and sugar-free juice.

 

The cabbage soup diet is good for fast weight loss. It is not indicated in the long-term, and should be followed for no more than one week. After a week, you should pay attention to what you eat otherwise you can easily gain weight.
