Daniel Craig or How to Get a 007 Body
By Alice Mitchell, Project Weight Loss Editor
November 14, 2008

James Bond is a brand.  You could live on the moon, and still his name would ring a bell, at least.  The actor Daniel Craig is the icon of 007 and it seems he’s got it all.  But, most important, he’s got a dream body, annoyingly perfect.  It’s obvious he’s taking good care of it, probably working out in his sleep too.  How much work does it take to have those killer abs?

It seems he’s not only working out a lot, but Bond also eats healthy food in order to keep those amazing abs in shape.  He eats three meals a day and two snacks.  For example, he eats two poached eggs and two slices of toast for breakfast, meat or fish with brown rice or a baked potato for lunch and meat or fish with a salad, spinach or broccoli.

His snacks consist of protein shakes or fruits and nuts or a yoghurt.  Before 2 p.m. no refined sugars and carbohydrates allowed.  Also, he eats rice, bread or potatoes but only before 5 p.m.  It goes without saying that two liters of water a day are mandatory.  Sleeping is also an important factor in Bond’s diet, so he tries to rest for eight hours a night in order to be rested when he works out.

He exercises for 45 minutes, five days a week and weekends are exclusively for relaxing.  Bond does: press ups, bench press, squats, lunges, pull ups, dead lift, and shoulder press. Bond avoids junk food, but allows himself a little “party time” in the weekend, when he enjoys a glass of wine or other type of alcohol.
