Golf - Having a Winner's Body Like Henrik Stenson

Henrik Stenson, a Swedish professional golfer, dominates final round to win The Players Championship (TPC). He said that routine allows him to "paint the path of the swing without the resistance of a club head.” Henrik won The Players Championship with a round of 66, featuring 12 pars and 6 birdies.

 

Henrik Stenson earned $1.71 million for a victory. He is now on the 5th place in the world ranking. Henrik has 12 professional victories and the most important are: 6 European Tour wins, 3 Challenge Tour wins, and 2 PGA Tour wins.

 

Golf has many benefits, but I would like to present you five of them. The first one and the most important if you ask me is that it helps you lose weight. After all, Henrik is the living proof, has a great body. Among others I can mention cardio workout, vitamin D, better sleeping and making new friends.

 

Vitamin D

Our body can take Vitamin D, outside, from the sun. Since Golf it’s an outdoor sport, you can get plenty of vitamin D while playing it.

 

Cardiovascular workout

Golf lowers harmful cholesterol, speeds up your metabolism, and that enhances the process of losing weight. Our workout planner can help you – you’ll find Golf in the Sports category.

 

Better sleeping

Previous studies have shown that regular exercises help to sleep better at night. Sleep is an important issue since it allows the muscles to repair themselves.

 

Right exercise

Golf gives "weight-bearing exercise" a new meaning – it helps preventing bone degeneration, including osteoporosis. It is also a great way to release stress from your shoulders using a strapped golf bag.

 

Making new friends

Because Golf is a social game you have lots of time to chat with your friends and get to know new ones. Making friends increases endorphins, meaning it gives you an overall feeling of well being and mental outlook.

 

So go play some golf! Make new friends, lose weight and live healthy!
