Jesse Holley's Secret for Health
By Alex Baran, Project Weight Loss Staff Writer
July 21, 2009

Jesse Holley won the "4th and Long” reality show that gave him the opportunity to get a standard rookie contract at Dallas Cowboys. Jesse won the 80th spot on their training-camp roster. With his physical qualities and his charisma we think he has good chances of success.

According to Michael Irvin, Jesse is among the quickest learners he has seen, in addition to his physical abilities. He sure is in a great shape. Besides the training, did football bring its contribution for Jesse’s enviable body?

American Football is a physically demanding sport. It offers many kinds of advantages:

Body’s health

Football requires important physical skills. Playing it you will develop endurance, quickness, balance, strength, agility, and speed. Kids who played football have grown up more athletic and more physically able adults than the ones that didn’t play any sports. These skills are also important in life when career choices are made.

Mind’s health

Football helps your mental well-being as well. This sport helps you fight depression and keeps your mood up.

Good advice

The game of football provides positive values and life lessons that can be used in general life. Learning how to lose graciously and win with humble is important. Responsibility, patience, and determination are other things that football teaches you, these values helping you make through the challenges of any situation in your life.

Social lessons

Being a team game, you’ll learn how to make friends; you’ll form lasting friendships, and feel like in a family. Starting with the coach and ending with your fans, you’ll get “socialized” and make close friends.

Some people think football is dangerous, but they forget that players have proper protective gear and strict rules. This being said, you cannot forget the advantages of this sport. Just look at Jesse Holley – he’s in the best shape ever.
