September 22, 2009 Season 6 from “House” started with Dr. Gregory House residing in a mental institution to deal with his addictions and hallucinations. After hard times through his detox, House wants to go home.
Dr. Eric Foreman evolved from a young delinquent to a good doctor, with an impressive academic performance. Behind Foreman is the actor Omar Epps, who stays focused on fitness.
According to Men’s Fitness he works out five days per week for about two hours. “I try to do them in the morning. It just varies—Mondays and Wednesdays, upper body, and Tuesdays and Thursdays, lower body. Friday is just a general workout: at least a half hour of cardio, then machines and free weights,” said Omar Epps.
Epps tries to stay fit as much as he can. When he was interviewed he was on LL Cool's J's workout regime. The actor has about 50 different regimens thanks to the many sports films he has played in. For energy he chooses green food, fruit shake in the mornings, multi-vitamins, and magma plus.
He doesn’t compete in something, but Omar is proud for bench-pressing 240lbs one time. “Obviously getting in shape for each film, like Against The Ropes and The Program was pretty intense, but personally I don't really compete in anything, I have bench-pressed 240lbs one time, that was pretty cool,” he said.
Omar Epps works out in the gym, does calisthenics, and even considers taking up yoga. Calisthenics are a form of exercises with simple movements, performed without equipment or weights. These exercises allow your body to develop the ability to squat, twist, reach, jump, lunge, and push. An advantage is that they can be done anytime, anywhere.
So, not only weight lifting makes you look good. Omar Epps shows you calisthenics and yoga are another way to improve your body.
