What is this woman eating?! On November 14 many celebrities stepped on the MOCA New 30th Anniversary Gala’s red carpet, but the one who caught our attention was Kate Bosworth, with her beautiful smile and hot body. What is this woman eating?!

Kate Bosworth likes classic, home-style cooking. Her favorite food is Spaghetti Bolognese; they remind her of childhood, when her grandmother cooked spaghetti. “It's one of my favorites. [...]You know you grow up on certain things and you just love it?” asks the actress, according to HELLO! magazine.

Let’s see what makes Spaghetti Bolognese so special: although this dish is very popular outside of Italy, Spaghetti Bolognese never existed in Bologna. In recent decades it has become popular in Denmark and Sweden. What if we make it popular among this weight loss community? Here’s a recipe that saves enormously on fat, calories, and sodium – 4 servings; preparation time: 10 minutes; cooking time: 1 hour.

Ingredients

  • 1 spray of canola oil;
  • 1 pinch of freshly ground black pepper;
  • 2 onions (chopped);
  • 14 oz of skinless boneless chicken breasts (finely diced);
  • 14 oz of wholegrain spaghetti (dry);
  • 1 lb of fresh tomatoes (roughly chopped);
  • 3 tablespoons of tomato paste;
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh basil;
  • 1/2 cup of red wine;
  • 1/2 cup of water.

Instructions

Take a large non-stick saucepan and lightly spray it with oil. Add onions and sauté until they’re tender; then add chicken. When the meat is browned, add tomato paste, tomatoes, black pepper, and basil. Mix a little and add water and wine; then mix again.

Bring to boil, reducing heat. Simmer uncovered until nearly all liquid has evaporated; it should take about 45 minutes. Meanwhile you can cook spaghetti according to instructions on the packet, after which you will drain and keep warm. Before served, put the sauce over them.

Spaghetti Bolognese with Chicken replaces the salty/fatty meats with chicken and excludes the butter, salt, and cream.
