September 17, 2009 Robin Williams is one of a kind. So is Jay Leno, who invited Robin on his show, talking about his tour and “World's Greatest Dad.”
There wasn’t much things Jay wanted to hear about the tour, so he asked Robin about the nude scene from his new movie "World's Greatest Dad." Asked why it took him so long to act in a nude scene, Robin answered with a joke, saying he saved “the best for last.”
Robin Williams never stopped amazing people. He recovered after his heart surgery and got back to work, making people laugh no matter where he was. His strong willing for life helped him recover, so you should know how important is to believe in yourself and do your best to enjoy life.
It’s not easy to take care of you after a heart surgery, so here are a few tips that may help: Take care of the incision – it should be kept clean and dry. When you cleanse the area, don’t use oils or ointments; water and soap will suffice. The nutrition is important too, so doctor will give advice about healthy dieting.
When the incision is healing you can take less than 10 minutes showers, but if it has sutures, it’s best to stand with the back to the shower spray. The water should be warm – don’t go to the extremes because they can make you faint.
Such recovering may take up to 6-8 weeks. Meanwhile you can gradually increase your activity, but don’t stand in one place more than 15 minutes and don’t lift, pull, or push heavy objects (i. e. more than 20 pounds). Also you should walk daily and get a good night’s sleep. If you get tired during the day go rest.
Don’t panic if you feel sad or depressed after the surgery. These feelings are normal and you’ll get over them once you get home and start your normal activities.
With a good sense of humor you can overcome any obstacle. Robin Williams is a good example for us all.
