“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” appeared with a new season on Bravo. In this second season the well-known New Jersey housewives are as inappropriate as ever. They have a better look, but so can you by following their advice. Caroline Manzo, the 51 years old housewife, appears with a thinner look in the new season. According to Samantha Chang, Celebrity Fitness and Health Examiner, Caroline started exercising with a personal training and has lots of fun too. If you are a busy housewife, you don’t have to leave the house to stay in shape. Use your imagination! You have plenty of resources around the house, use them and save some money. For instance, use a can of soup as a dumbbell, or your own body weight for resistance exercises. Caroline Manzo is not the only wife who kept herself busy during seasons. Teresa Giudice has written “Skinny Italian,” a diet book in which “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star reveals she follows a Mediterranean diet and limits processed foods. The Mediterranean diet is characterized by an emphasis on vegetables, fruits, bread, potatoes, beans, nuts, and seeds. The olive oil is the source of mono-saturated fats. The poultry and red meat consumption is limited. It’s best to eat unprocessed foods. Try to cut junk food, fast food, drinks with sugar, and white flour food for a while. An alternative would be nutrient rich, colorful foods, antioxidant rich foods, and foods with antiviral properties (e.g. broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, darkly colored berries, nuts, seeds, citrus, ginger, leafy green vegetables, garlic, onion, shitake mushrooms etc. When celebrities give tips for free, why not follow them? Both Caroline Manzo and Teresa Giudice have shown you can stay fit no matter the age. ©2010 Project Weight Loss. All rights reserved.
