Katee Sackhoff plays Dana Walsh in the Fox Show “24.” The actress has beaten thyroid cancer, but she does therapy. This situation scared her even though she won the battle. Fighting cancer was the scariest thing she ever saw, so she recovers with therapy to get over it, said the “24” star according to Starpulse. Still, she has an optimistic view: “I had cancer. Nothing scares me now.” Here are a few tips on fighting cancer. Beans are low fat and high protein. They stabilize blood sugar, lower cholesterol, and fight cancer. Beans are beneficial to those with diabetes too. One of chili’s benefits is that fights cancer. Chili can also warm your feet; fight inflammation, migraine and sinus headaches; help lower high blood pressure, soothe intestinal diseases, and lose weight. Eating oatmeal could help fight cancer too because it includes insoluble fibers. Besides insoluble fibers oatmeal includes soluble fibers that reduce LDL cholesterol and oats which have many nutrients and proteins. There are other ways to fight cancer, but it’s best to talk to a doctor before starting a treatment to any kind of health problem. Katee Sackhoff is a winner and so can anybody be. Fighting such diseases can harm your positive attitude, but like the actress said, if you win the battle, nothing will scare you anymore. ©2010 Project Weight Loss. All rights reserved.
