Celebrity Fitness and Weight Loss Programs: Madonna and J. Lo
By Andrea Pelin, Project Weight Loss Editor in Chief
March 28, 2008

Madonna and Jennifer Lopes are two famous entertainers who have always been in great shape. The key reason for that seems to be practicing yoga, but let`s dig deeper into their workout and diet programs to find out more.

Madonna seems to be a fitness guru! She has a strict routine of Ashtanga yoga and follows the macrobiotic diet. The macrobiotic diet is based on beans, certain types of meat, fish, whole grains, and vegetables. Those who want to follow the Macrobiotic diet need to have patience, consume whole grains daily if possible, eat food products with plant-based proteins instead of animal-based proteins.

Jennifer Lopez has a personal trainer in Los Angeles who helps her stay in shape. Plus, she also takes yoga classes, lifts weights, and does cardio exercises. Regarding her diet, J. Lo sais that nothing is banned from her diet but tries to stay away from carbohydrates when she is trying to lose some weight. When it comes to the amount of food consumed,

Jennifer is very moderate. She does not overeat because she is feeling too stuffed in the next day and she cannot afford feeling sick due to her busy schedule.

Jennifer Lopez in not following a certain diet. She's heard about many fad diets and avoids them. Jennifer now knows what is best for her and what isn`t. You need to hear what your body is asking for, according to Jennifer.

Always talk to a specialist before starting a diet or a workout program. Remember that what may work for others is not good for you as well.
