Katie Holmes' and Jessica Simpson's Beauty Secrets

Katie Holmes comes from an environment where everyone works out and has a very active lifestyle. Her parents like to have a healthy lifestyle. Even for Thanksgiving, her father makes the whole family go jogging before the big turkey dinner.

 

Although exercising is important and Katie agrees, she said that sometimes the long hours spend working out makes her skip her cardio workout. On the other hand, Tom said that women need to work out and take vitamins.

 

Regarding her favorite foods, Katie prefers cookie dough, veggie burgers, Pretzels dipped in salsa, and buttered popcorn. As drinks, she would choose diet coke and vanilla latte. Her favorite activities include dancing, running, listening to music, reading, and shopping.

 

Pop star Jessica Simpson had to prepare for her role in the movie Dukes of Hazzard and followed a new exercise program to get in the perfect shape. Jessica`s two-hour workout included squats and lunges. Jessica said that once she decided to take the role, she had her last piece of chocolate cake and ever since then she tried to cut sugar from her diet, excepting fruits. However, she claims all she does is to have a balanced diet and work out for up to two hours per day.

 

Jessica used to follow the Atkins diet but said that diet did not show the expected results. A low-carb diet such as the Atkins diet was not the right path for her because she was starving for carbs and she was starting to binge on high-carb foods once she stopped the diet. Her favorite foods include cookie dough ice cream, Italian foods, salads, and bread.
