Pamela Anderson's Diet Tricks
By Neil Stadford, Project Weight Loss Editor Diet
May 27, 2008

Pamela Anderson, besides being a sex symbol, is also a TV personality, which requires a lot of self-confidence. She was always able to shine thanks to her spotless image and her great-looking body. If you ever wondered how was she able to stay in such a good shape for such a long time, you should read some of the following facts.

Pamela’s early life made her what she is today.
A significant event changed her forever when she was only a teenager. After seeing her father cutting a deer’s head off in a shed in her backyard, she became a very strict vegetarian. More than that, she became a supporter of animal rights ever since she was in high school.

She never eats red meat, chicken, pork or fish. Not even seafood. When she learned that factory farms and slaughterhouses around the world that supply KFC’s restaurants are using cruel methods to kill the chickens, she was horrified. She sent a letter requesting the removal of the worst abuses. A year and a half later, she received an insulting response. She declared that she will not be satisfied until KFC will adopt an animal welfare program.

Later on she suggested controlled-atmosphere killing of chickens, which she believed was a painless process and overall a huge improvement over the methods currently used. She also took advantage of her popular image by appearing in a billboard campaign. The billboard urges consumers around the world to boycott KFC until the animal welfare improvements are accepted.

Although she became a vegetarian at a very young age, Pamela also calls upon other little tricks to help her resist different temptations. For example, when she’s cooking for friends, she chews sugar-free gum to stop her from tasting different ingredients.
