Brendan Fraser from "George of the jungle" to Rick O'Connell
By Oana Pop, Project Weight Loss Editor

Brendan Fraser is one of the most interesting actors, being able to be a comedy actor as well as an action movie hero. The thirty – two years old actor is known for the part he had in “George of the Jungle”, “The Looney Tunes” and “the Mummy” franchise.

He acquired all those hunky attributes in order to look good as Tarzan and be able to wear only a piece of leather around his waist. The effect was stunning, the muscles acquired offered him a credible face on screen and at the same time, he improved his body shape.

After “George of the Jungle”, Brendan had a two years break, afterwards he found himself in need of working out in order to get in shape for the first “ The Mummy” movie. He started a serious work our program with a special instructor who helped him work all his muscles.

After filming the first movie of the series “The Mummy” he saw that his actual fit body is giving him a lot of credit. He did most if the stunts seen in the movie and suffered some little accidents as well: popping a disc, breaking a rib and blowing his knee out.

"There was a lot of preparation involved... weights, high protein dieting, the works .... In the script where it says Rick gets thrown across the room, then I did, and sort of got smashed up in the process," Brendan says.

He usually makes jokes about his secret of staying fit: “I try to look as good as I can by running and drinking beer.” He is not a party animal as it appears. He likes to spend his time indoors with his wife and he is planning to have a child soon so that he can enjoy life at full.

When asked about a forth movie in the series of “The Mummy”, Brendan said that is there will still be enough water in his knee he will be a part of the cast. Unfortunately for him, Fraser found it very difficult to fight Jet Li because of the injury of his knee.

He tried to recover from the injury by doing some special exercises and using bandages to support his knee, but when it comes to an action movie he couldn’t actually protect his knees because of the demanding role. His character is one of the most thrilling and enchanting, alongside with Maria`s Bello and Jet`s Li characters.
