Scarlett Johansson, a Hottie but Not a "Size Zero" Kinda Girl
By Alice Mitchell, Project Weight Loss Editor
September 30, 2008

Scarlett Johansson, considered one of Hollywood’s hottest celebrities, got married recently to Ryan Reynolds. No wonder she makes every effort to look great with such a handsome man beside her. Even though it is believed that happiness makes you shine, the actress has her secrets when it comes to her amazing, curved body.

She prefers Snickers to Milky Way, because of the peanuts.
Scarlett confessed her idea of aerobics is “going for a slice”. That’s what she indulges herself once in a while, that and a homemade key lime pie. The glamorous actress considers herself normal, even typical. “I'm pretty casual. I wear sneakers and flats. I can walk in heels, but do I wear them every day? Certainly not. Only if I'm going to a premiere or a party, because I like to look like a lady.” She says her idea of dinner is ordering Chinese food. Although she admits including junk food in her diet, she most certainly eats responsible.

What makes Scarlett Johansson special among other celebrity actresses is the message she sends concerning weight loss. She strongly believes that media promotes an unrealistic and unhealthy image when it comes to defining beauty and women should not be forced to duplicate that image. The actress finds that starving herself into “shadow” thinness is very unattractive, and most of all, unhealthy.

The actress is not a gym fanatic, but she sometimes goes to the gym. Either way, Scarlett walks a lot and tries to keep her mind and body healthy with yoga practice. It seems she’s not only a knockout, but a smart woman too.
