Health's Entourage Is Getting Bigger: Perrey Reeves

Mrs. Ari from “Entourage” is played by Perrey Reeves. Mrs. Ari is an independent and wealthy wife that in the end gets what she wants from her husband Ari Gold. That’s a small part of the character’s life. Now let’s talk in details about Reeves’ lifestyle.

Her life in Costa Rica is different than the life she has in Los Angeles. According to Tastybaby she has a residence and center for wellness, Two Rivers, in Costa Rica. Even when she’s not acting, she’s a pretty busy person.

“I rise with the sun and the howls of Howler Monkeys, practice yoga, eat a healthy, organic, homemade meal, read an interesting book either fiction or non-fiction, garden in our vast botanical tropical gardens, hike through the jungle with Jeff [her husband] and our dog, leisurely swim in the ocean, read some more, have lunch at a local restaurant, walk back through the jungle paths to my off-the-grid home stopping off to swim in a swimming hole in the clear crisp river, relax in my hammock, talk with Jeff, read some more, talk some more, prepare another healthy, organic, homemade meal while looking for river otters, falcons, and Capucchin Monkeys, either swimming, flying, or climbing above or below the array of cascading waterfalls which grace my backyard, take a hot shower in my outdoor solar powered tub during a colorful sunset, practice yoga and/or meditation.”

In spite of her busy life, the actress says the nature provides her “with all the amenities” she needs to re-connect, de-stress, and rejuvenate. A big advantage for her healthy lifestyle is the tropical weather which allows her to stay outdoors most of the day.

Perrey Reeves eats organic – she buys organic products or grows it, as much as nature lets her. “We also have over 200 organically grown fruit trees on our property representing over 30 different varieties of tropical fruits. It is quite difficult to grow vegetables on our property due to the many animals who like to consume them before we can. Although, we were successful in growing tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers as it seems the lizards don't eat the leaves on these plants.”, she said.

The actress and her husband are vegetarians and think animals cannot speak for themselves so humans should defend and protect them.

Reeves knows how important is to live green, so she chooses environmentally friendly cleaning products, eats a vegetarian diet and organic produce. The actress also uses alternative energy, recycles or reuses everything that can be.

No matter where she is, from Costa Rica to Los Angeles, she dresses stylishly and comfortable, depending on the situation in which she is in.
