Alicia Silverstone Presents "The Kind Diet"
By Alex Baran, Project Weight Loss Staff Writer
October 16, 2009

Alicia Silverstone has stepped into a new stage of her career, releasing her feel-good cookbook "The Kind Diet," and acting on Broadway. Eleven years ago the actress became a vegan, claiming because of that she is the happy-go-lucky gal of today.

According to Alicia, her book contributes to world peace. The actress hopes the steps she wrote in the book will make people as happy as she is. "My secret agenda is to make people happy and feel good, and that's really my agenda. I know deeply in my heart it's a better way, and people will feel so magical if they do it. ... I have the secret drug," Silverstone told MTV.

The actress also wrote how she evolved from a young superstar to a happy and functioning grown up. "I feel like I turned out really well, and I'm very grateful to this lifestyle," said Silverstone.

"The Kind Diet " is somewhat a lifestyle guide that helps change your eating regime, by protecting yourself and the animals. Giving up dairy and meat you can bring amazing changes in your energy level, skin, waistline, and nails.

Following a plant-based diet can be a major contribution towards Earth improvement. The book has 100 delicious recipes, personal anecdotes, and motivational tips. One of the ideas from "The Kind Diet" is that small choices can have big results.
