Ashley Greene Suggests Work Is a Good Way to Lose Weight

Ashley Greene aka Alice Cullen from “New Moon” trained hard for her role and the results were magnificent. She and her colleagues demonstrated spectacular super human strength coupled with dynamic moves. The actress seems to have lost weight – how did she manage to do that?

Twilight actress told Us Magazine she trained up to four hours a day. Besides working out with a personal trainer, her workout regime included fight training.

 

Fight training helped Greene both in the studio and real life. While learning cool dynamic moves she also improved her confidence. Among fight training benefits there are preparedness for dangerous situations and discipline.

 

After long periods of training, the body needs to stay active, so Greene has found the solution to stay in shape: she does Pilates. “I do it early in the morning. It wakes you up, and it's kind of refreshing. And that is basically it. Sometimes cardio. I am not a big weight person because when I do weights I build muscle mass,” said the actress.

 

As for the food, there wasn’t much time for it: “We were working 12 hours a day, so it didn't leave too much time to eat,” told the actress. That doesn’t mean she was starving; when Ashley did eat, she chose healthy foods.

 

For people that are busy with work, like Ashley Greene, here are a few tips to avoid bad eating habits:

 

Cook more food on Sunday and put it to fridge. The remaining portions you can take at work. You will save some money that you usually spend for lunch.

 

Eat a big breakfast in the morning. You will burn the extra calories while running around the office. Of course, there might not be time before work, but I’ve got a solution for that too: bring to work a low-fat yogurt and a banana.

 

Instead of unhealthy snacks put on your desk an apple, mandarin, granola bars, baked wheat crackers, or other healthy foods.

 

You’re hosting a meeting? Forget about pastries and donuts. Bring hummus, wheat crackers, cheese, or fruits.

 

Stay hydrated - keep a water bottle nearby. If there’s no water cooler, bring water containers from home.

 

Hard work at the office can bring you the weight loss success, but it may not be so healthy. Ashley Greene lost weight at work, but tried to keep a limit between her good and bad habits.
