Reviewing a Hockey Player’s Lifestyle

The Phoenix Coyotes let you know on Saturdays how the players live. It’s Keith Yandle’s turn. What does this hockey player eat

 

He helped the Coyotes defeat Detroit Red Wings with a 3-2 score. The 23 years old defenseman has 195 pounds and is 6 feet 1 inch high.

 

Even though his fiancé is a great cook, his favorite takeout meal is Nick’s Italian in Scottsdale, according to The Arizona Republic. He likes Chicken parmesan with pink sauce and rigatoni. Actually eating chicken and pasta is some sort of ritual before a game. Along them, he eats salad and drinks Sprite or water. This way Yandle’s body knows an important game comes. 

 

Chicken is a healthy alternative to red meat and a primary source of animal protein. Four ounces of chicken provides 67.6% of your daily value of protein. Pasta is high in complex carbohydrates and has fewer calories than other food. Vegetables are important for their vitamins and minerals, so they’re a must-eat for everybody, just like staying hydrated. As you can see, Keith has a smart nutrition plan.

 

Keith Yandle has a solution to beat the summer heat too. Besides having air conditioning in the house and the car, he plays golf early in the morning. Golf has many benefits, but I would like to present you five of them. The first one and the most important if you ask me is that it helps you lose weight. Among others I can mention cardio workout, vitamin D, better sleeping and making new friends.

 

You don’t have to be a hockey player to prepare your body for an important day. Dieting and exercising strengthens you and improves your self-esteem. Healthy lifestyle choices can make you a winner.
