By Alexia Adams, Project Weight Loss Editor December 07, 2010
Katy Perry strove to look gorgeous at her wedding with Russel Brand on October 26, in India. Thank to trainer Harley Pasternak she was never as slim as before the wedding. Harley Pasternak is a nutrition and fitness specialist and a well known celebrity trainer. He is all about doing things in "fives." The singer likes to dress in cakes and ice creams, if we watch her last video “California Gurls”, but certainly she doesn’t eat them. Actually, the 25 years old singer, follows a strict diet and fitness plan.
The 5 factors rule: Eat 5 times a day Each meal should contain 5 ingredients or less Food preparation should last for no longer then 5 minutes- a great diet for busy people 5 sports activities a day
Choose one day when you can have what you desire Five ingredients for the food plan. Every meal should include: A low protein- chicken meat, fish, cheese, Healthy carbs- beans, brown rice, fruits Fibre- beans, bread, vegetables (excluding potatoes), and fruits Healthy fats- olive and canola oil A drink without sugar
Lastly, the plan requires five daily fitness sessions. Do five exercises, for at least five times a week, five times a day, meaning 25 minutes a day. Katy’s favorite activity is jumping rope. She admits she doesn’t like working out but jumping rope is more like dancing and it is great. Katy Perry’s trainer believes physical activity performed for shorter periods of time, but more often is more effective than hours of training at the gym. You can opt for: jogging, dancing, swimming, or any other form of intense physical activity. Please consult a specialist before starting any diet or fitness program. ©2010 Project Weight Loss.
