September 23, 2009 “Up in the Air” is a dramatic comedy in which George Clooney stars as Ryan Bingham and I won’t say anything more because it’s a “must see” movie. However I will tell you what George Clooney likes to eat.
Many movie stars have strange habits and cravings, but George Clooney seems to be a normal guy. He likes Chaya steak from Chaya Brasserie, according to Love To Know. Not any recipe is diet-friendly, so here’s a low fat steak recipe.
Orange-rosemary steaks, 4 servings, preparation time - 5 minutes, marinating time - 30 minutes, cooking time - 17 to 22 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 lb of boneless beef chuck top blade steaks, which you’ll cut 3/4 to 1 inch thick
- 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar or red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of finely chopped onion
- 1/3 cup of orange juice
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried crushed rosemary
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of coarse grind black pepper
Instructions
Combine the vinegar, orange juice, rosemary, and onion. Place the beef steaks into a bowl, add the marinade evenly over meat, cover the bowl and put it to fridge for about an hour, turning occasionally. After that remove the steaks from marinade and place them on grid over medium coals. Grill for about 20 minutes for rare to medium and turn them once. Season with pepper and salt, cut into thin slices - now they’re ready to serve.
It’s hard to find someone to make a commercial for something he actually likes, doing obviously a better job. Well, when it comes to beer, George Clooney is the right guy and the beer companies know it. He enjoys a good beer and back than when he was shooting for “Oceans 11” liked to have a beer in his dressing room. Actually, he does voice over for Budweiser commercials.
For those who like beer but they’re on a diet, there are low-calorie beers and should try, for example, MillerCoors and Anheuser-Busch’s brews.
The main idea is you can enjoy a good meal like George Clooney does even if you’re dieting, by choosing carefully your drinks and meals.
