Miranda Kerr is a fan of healthy lifestyle consisting of good eating habits and regular work out. The one thing she does never forget is to include in her diet green tea, which is supposed to help her lose weight. Her favorite food is fried chicken and according to HELLO! Miranda cooks it herself.

All this talk about food has made me hungry. In case you feel the same, let me help you stick to your diet: here is a recipe for a light fried chicken.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of low fat buttermilk;
  • 1/2 cup of flour;
  • 1/2 cup of corn flake crumbs;
  • 4 skinless chicken breast halves (about 4 - 6 ounces each);
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper;
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt;
  • 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil.

Instructions

Take a sealed heavy duty food storage bag or covered container and soak the chicken halves in buttermilk for about four hours in the refrigerator; then discard the buttermilk. Combine flour, pepper, corn flake crumbs, and salt in a medium bowl. In this mixture you will dredge the chicken until well coated.

Heat the oil in a big skillet in which you will fry the chicken for almost 20 minutes, turning once. Before serving, drain the chicken thoroughly on paper towels.

This recipe is low fat because it includes just a little oil and involves low fat ingredients.
