Little lifestyle changes that include a healthier diet, more physical activity, and socializing more often can make you feel more active and it`s fun.Here are a few practical tips from Dr. John Morley and Dr. Sheri Colberg that may help you stay healthy and vital.

A balanced diet with plenty of vegetables, fruits, proteins, and fibers along with moderate amounts of alcohol is the first step to a better lifestyle. The next step is to increase your daily physical activity by vacuuming, walking the dog more often, or working out for at least half an hour per day. You should try to combine posture, resistance, balance, and stretching exercises in order to achieve the best results.

Many people consider that the hormone therapy is an anti-aging potion. They shouldn`t use hormone replacement judiciously because it`s not meant to work miracles, it`s indicated only if you have a deficiency.

Your mind should be always sharp. Try to play video games, reduce the time spent in front of the TV, practice working mental math problems, enjoy a stable relationship, and treat the early signs of depression. You may want to decrease the risk to develop cardiovascular diseases by giving up smoking and checking your blood pressure regularly.

Your bone health is also something you need to look after from early ages. Regular walking and moderate weight-bearing exercises may strengthen bones. Additionally, you may have calcium and vitamin D supplements recommended by your doctor.
