Libras Like McCain, Scorpios Root for Romney

Slim and single folks prefer Mitt Romney over all other Republican candidates to the U.S. presidency, according to an unusual, informal survey performed by ProjectWeightLoss.com on various web sites and social networks where the candidates’ supporters congregate. By contrast, those who are married or in a relationship are more drawn toward Mike Huckabee.

When it comes to body type, overweight Americans are more likely to choose John McCain with Mike Huckabee as a close second. However, there is a strong competition for this category since there is a difference of only five percent between these two candidates.

When it comes to ethnicity, Romney does not fare too well among Asian supporters. He registered the smallest score among all candidates surveyed. However, he has highest popularity among blacks, Native Americans, pacific islanders, and whites, compared to any other Republican candidate.

Giuliani had the largest number of supporters who declared themselves atheists or agnostics. Romney has the largest popularity among Catholics, while Christians preferred Huckabee by the highest percentage.

Surprisingly, Mike Huckabee has the largest proportion of supporters without children, according to the survey. He also tops the students` preference, closely followed by John McCain. Mitt Romney fares best among those who have a college degree or higher.
Interestingly, the zodiac sign may also play a role in voters’ preferences. John McCain has is the favorite candidate among Libras, Capricorns, Aquarius, Gemini, and Leos.

However, he has few supporters among Scorpios, who support Mitt Romney by a large proportion. So do many people whose sign is Pisces or Cancer. By contrast, those who are Aries, Taurus, Virgo, or Sagittarius like Huckabee.
