Fergie's Lifestyle
By Alex Baran, Project Weight Loss Staff Writer

Fergie, the well known singer from Black Eyed Peas, managed to lose the extra weight she gained for her role in the musical “Nine”.  With the help of her husband’s trainer and a healthy diet she’s achieved her weight loss goals.

Losing weight is not as hard as you think.  All she did is to take outdoor hikes, jump the rope, lift weights, and mid-section exercises.  “If I don’t do sit-ups, my stomach sticks out,” Fergie confessed to Allure magazine.

The singer considered it was time for discipline as well.  She organized her things so she could have enough sleep, work out on a regular basis, and, of course, eat healthy.  “I need structure. I need to get enough sleep. I need to make sure that I’m having regular workouts, and that they put in time for hair and makeup and nails, because I do have to get my nails done.”

Fergie eats healthy and regularly, five to six times a day.  Her meals are low-fat and low-carb, preferring bagels with cottage cheese and tomatoes for breakfast.  But the secret is she does vinegar shots.  These shots are recommended because they flush out fat in the colon, helping the body digest food.  "I do vinegar shots. It has to be organic apple cider, unfiltered. Two tablespoons. For some reason I've noticed a difference to my stomach."  Some say vinegar shots even cut out cravings.

For lunch she prefers mixed greens, avocadoes, grapefruits, and shredded chicken.  Don’t forget the snacks – on the menu are light organic cheese and rice crackers with flaxseed.  The salmon and two cups of veggies come to dinner, along with different flavors, like chili sauce or mustard.
